The Stradbroke Island Beach Hotel offers the perfect location for a memorable event or conference, whether it’s an intimate birthday party, engagement celebration, trade show or a full industry conference. The hotel, on top of Point Lookout on North Stradbroke Island, is 30 kms southeast of Brisbane and overlooks the Coral Sea. Stradbroke Island, the world’s second largest sand island, is an unspoilt sub-tropical paradise, with a rich indigenous history. More than 375,000 people visit Stradbroke Island every year, to take advantage of its ever-evolving nature-based offerings, whether it is whale watching from Point Lookout, snorkeling and diving with Manta Rays or trekking through eucalypt and scribbly gum forests along the newly opened mountain walk.

THE VENUE

The Stradbroke Island Beach Hotel can accommodate a variety events in its Headland Room or Boardroom. The Headland Room is suitable for a relaxed cocktail-style event, full black-tie function, or industry conference. The full room can accommodate 135 guests theatre style, 80 guests banquet style, 40 guests with U-shape or banquet-style seating or 35 guests classroom style. The half room can accommodate 30 guests theatre style, 15 guests with U-shape or banquetstyle seating or 10 guests classroom style. The Boardroom is a suitable venue for smaller, corporate events seating 12 people in a meeting room style.
