A steakhouse with a “country comes to city” spirit inspires Six Acres Restaurant to deliver outstanding “paddock to plate” experiences, with a classically simple menu showcasing the finest seasonal ingredients to ensure optimum flavour. The focus at one of the premier restaurants in Fortitude Valley is on fresh premium produce from the regions of Queensland and Australia, all masterfully prepared and served.

The largest of our function rooms, The Arena consists of all three event spaces, state of the art audio visual with optional use of the pre-event area. The Arena provides an abundance of natural light and over looks the heritage listed Royal Snack Bar and fig trees. With flexible setup options and tailored event catering, The Arena is the perfect choice for weddings, conferences and gala dinners.

Podium 1 is the perfect size for an intimate meeting room. State of the art audio visual equipment allow for great flexibility with how you want to execute a presentation or set the room. The large square window at the end of the room provide stunning natural light whilst featuring both sheer and blackout curtains.

Podium 2 is one of the largest rooms we have. With two large windows overlooking the heritage listed Ekka, Snack Bar and fig trees provide an abundance of natural light. State of the art audio visual equipment, flexible lighting options and tailored event catering make your event both modern and stylish. 

Podium 3 is located next to Podium 1 & 2 and can be used individually or combined. This meeting room has the capability to open up onto the pre event area, ideal for pre and post event catering. 

The Library is a sophisticated Australiana themed space with an antique style library surrounding the room. Often utilised for workshops, presentations, meetings, private dining and milestone celebrations, it’s conveniently located next to our bar for easy catering solutions.

The Bar Gusto is a stunning place for guests to meet and relax. Splendid views across the historic Brisbane Showgrounds set the scene at our Fortitude Valley bar, while locally inspired food and beverages welcome in the King Street way of life. Craft beers, hand-picked wines, signature cocktails and bar menu favourites – enjoy it all on the terrace beneath the beautiful shade canopy of an original Showground fig tree.
