The Glenmore Hotel was built by Brewers Tooth & Co in 1921 and has been an Aussie icon ever since. It is one of the last surviving pre- Harbour Bridge buildings on Cumberland Street, north of the Cahill Expressway. The site is known to have been occupied from the early years of 1800, although it is likely that, like the other ridges of The Rocks, it was occupied by the encampment of settlers in the first weeks of the arrival of the First Fleet in 1788.

The Glenmore Hotel has three floor which are available for function and events. The Ground floor is known as the ‘Public Bar’ this floor has maintained its traditional Rocks pub appeal. It is a place to meet for lunch or after work drinks on the outdoor seating, have a flutter on the horses with the new TAB facilities or an intimate lunch in the Harbour Lounge nook with a big leather back booth and views over The Rocks precinct.

The Rooftop has sweeping harbour views whilst sitting on our sensational rooftop. Whether it be a BBQ lunch for 20 people or cocktail event for 150, the rooftop is the perfect outdoor space for any type of function. A retractable roof has been installed to combat the various weather conditions.

The Glenmore now caters for private dining and intimate functions on the ‘Glenmore Lounge’ located on the middle level of the hotel. This level hosts a number of elegant spaces including the Grand Dining Room and the Club Room; perfect for private dining, meetings or social gatherings. This level is perfect for those who would like their own designated room with personal attention and service.
