The large and versatile function room at The Commercial Hotel is perfect for any event or occasion. With a flexible room format this space is perfect for birthday celebrations, engagement parties, Christmas break-ups, wakes and weddings, just to name a few!The room comes equipped with a stage, AV and dance floor, fully stocked bar, private bathrooms, outdoor smoking area and pool tables.You can host 80+ guests cocktail, 80 - 250 guests seated and 350 guests theater style. Please note that room hire fees and minimum spend requirements apply.

Do you cater for dietary requirements?

Yes! At The Commercial South we can cater for a wide range of dietary's, from gluten free to vegan. All requirements are due at least 7 days prior to your event date to ensure we can cater.

Are guests under the age of 18 able to attend my event?

Yes, provided that they are accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, we recommend that they depart the venue by 10pm.

Can I bring my own decorations?

You sure can! However, nothing can be stuck to the walls with anything that will damage the paint. We also don't allow for party poppers, glitter or table scatters, as we just can't clean them up!
