Centrally located in Melbourne’s iconic Trades Hall, Fringe Common Rooms is a year-round home for independent artists, for workers and for people who like to party – and we’re ready to host your next *insert literally any event here*. We can do parties, gigs, launches, workshops, meetings or even full-blown spectaculars (disco ball and all). And with space for up to 250 people, a state-of-the-art sound system, a professional bar and full wheelchair accessibility, everyone can come play at Fringe Common Rooms. All welcome, all year round.

 

Our Spaces

The Ballroom: a performance space & bar that holds up to 174 patrons standing or 114 seated theatre-style. Perfect for your big party, DJ night, music gig or cabaret show.

The Lounge: a second, intimate salon-style space that holds up to 76 people and is ideal for smaller functions, workshops, meetings and rehearsals.

Porque no los dos? For most events in the Ballroom, the Lounge can be used as a break-out area or backstage green room at no extra cost.
