Queensland Parliamentary Service is located in Brisbane. Parliament House is Queensland premier heritage building and one of Brisbane known landmarks. The Parliament House Precinct has 16 different function rooms available. A Corporate event, social gathering, wedding reception, milestone birthday or Christmas Party, the Parliament House Precinct can cater for a variety of events with gourmet food and beverage options.

The Parliament House Kitchen features a wide variety of menus to suit any occasion. Our kitchen team have a wealth of experience in catering for small to large functions for all industries. The Cellar is our most intimate and private function room. The Dandiir Room is the perfect option for smaller functions, providing an intimate setting for meetings, conferences and seminars.

The Premiers’ Hall is a versatile function space boasting a permanent stage, lofty ceilings and wood panelling. The perfect location for a unique boardroom lunch or meeting. Speaker’s Dining Room offers a light filled space with views of Speaker’s Green and Parliament House. Please let us know how we can help you.

Unfortunately parking is not available for function guests during business hours. Outside of business hours parking may be available, please speak to your function co-ordinator for further details
No. We do not have a minimum spend to use our function facilities. Fees may be incurred through venue hire charges.
Each of our menus will have a minimum number of guests starting with just 5 people, so there is an option to suit everyone.
Parliament House is a fully catered facility and our Catering team offer a fantastic range of options to suit all events and budgets. If you can't find something you like on our menu's please talk to our team about a custom menu option.
We do not permit BYO food or beverage.
Yes, subject to approval. There are two ways to have a function here at Parliament House:
1. Book through the Committee of the Legislative Assembly (CLA) by providing an application with event details for review
2. Have a letter or email from a member of parliament supporting your event (this does not require financial support)
Yes. We can facilitate 3rd parties involvement with your function. Based on the requirements of the 3rd party it may be necessary for them to participate in a contractor induction (please allow 30 minutes for induction).
As a working Parliament we have strict security requirements. Please ensure you have read the security information and are aware of the items you need to bring. All functions will need to provide:
• Function Register
• Name Tags
• Photo ID per person (under 100) OR Personalised invitation (over 100)
Details are to be confirmed 7 days prior to your function this includes menu selection, timings, numbers and dietary requirements.
We can make changes up to 3 business days prior to a function. After this point no further changes are able to be made.
Whilst you will be working with our administration team in co-ordinating your function the Function Supervisor who has extensive experience in the running of functions will take over the requirements on the day. The function supervisor can be contacted on 3553 6373.
