In 1882 a servant had a lucky escape when she slipped into the well while drawing water, remaining trapped for an hour or more until rescued. This Inn was demolished to make way for the current building. Some of its red brick foundations survived at the rear of the present hotel until recently, when subdivision occurred.

We're proud to introduce The Gallery Function Room, a light filled space perfect for small to medium size functions. Soon to be exhibiting some of the best in local artistic talent, this traditional yet modern space can seat up to 20 guests for lunch or dinner. We can also comfortably serve up to 25 guests for cocktails and canopies.

Looking for conference or meeting space? Booked in advance, we offer The Gallery to local community groups and small businesses from 9:00am - 12:00pm and from 3:00pm - 5:00pm in one hour blocks for a small fee or package that includes tea and coffee service.
